Volunteer Hours Overview

Some schools require volunteer's to complete/pass a background check, screening, classes or paperwork to be able to volunteer for certain events. During the initial set up of your database, the admin can update the default status. This section allows you to:

  • View, Approve or Decline volunteer hours
  • View and Print reports of all pending, approved or denied volunteer requests

View, Approve or Decline Volunteer Hours

  1. Navigate to Signups > Volunteer Hours.
  2. The main page will show you all pending requests. 
  3. View the list to determine if they should be approved or declined. 
    1. Check the box next to the each user, then click on Update Selected button.
    2. Check the Hours Approved box then click Pending, Approved or Declined
    3. You can also check Hours Approved By and Hours Approved On box to record who and when approved/declined these hours.
  4. Review all approved requests by clicking on the View Approved Hours button.
  5. Review all declined requests by clicking on the View Declined Hours button.
